This web site presents the family tree of William MacKean b. 1607, Argyleshire, Scotland, a descendant of the MacIain Clan of Ardnamurchan, according to family oral history. His descendants have been collecting and publishing their family histories since 1902 and today the number of persons included in his family tree exceeds 11,000, spread over 17 generations.
